A gorgeous late 17th century (circa 1680) joined oak gateleg table of small proportions with rare original barley twist base and superb colour. This table consists of a solid oak top of original colour with shaped top rail all supported on an unusual oak base consisting of barley twist supports and stretchers with single barley twist gates and supported on turned feet. This table is a very versatile piece, is in very good original condition for age, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
