A superb rare pair of mid 18th century (circa 1760) mahogany Chippendale pedestal cabinets of exceptional colour.This pair of pedestal cabinets each consist of a solid mahogany top with moulded edge leading down to a door (with key) with central recessed panel and finely carved applied decoration in the Rococo style.To either side of the doors a pilaster in the form of a column with carved capital to the top and carved plinth below, the doors opening to reveal a shelf divide in one and two sliding trays in the other.
