A fine quality Regency (circa 1815) rosewood tilt top centre table of fine, faded patina. This table consists of a finely figured rosewood top of fine, faded patina with outer border of satinwood crossbanding, the top being either secured tilted or down. This leads down to a crossbanded rosewood edge with central brass line with a rosewood frieze below with boxwood stringing and lower brass line. The top is supported on a turned rosewood column leading down to a triform inlaid platform base with inlaid brass and ebony stylised anthemion decoration with inlaid brass 'S' scrolls to either side. The table all supported on three superb quality original brass scrolling paw feet with castors below. This table is in very good condition for age, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home. Please note: the bronze bust shown is not included in the price.
