Christ the Redeemer carving

A large finely carved limewood figure of Christ the Redeemer, signed L.F. Dapre B.O.W. 1947.This figure of Christ the Redeemer depicts Christ with open arms, this being a symbol of peace, with removable solid silver halo dressed in draped robes with carved ‘sacred heart’  and supported on a plinth. The carved ‘Sacred heart’, the flaming heart with a crown of thorns symbolising his compassion for humanity.This figure is in very good condition for age and can go straight into a home.
