A stunning French 19th century Louis XVI st. Alabastro Fioreti marble and ormolu center piece. The centerpiece is raised on a mottled oval marble base with convex sides. The bottom of the richly chased satin and burnished finished ormolu pedestal is decorated with a les oves pattern. At each side is a pierced foliate design element flanking a handsome lion head reserve. At the rim of the marble bowl is a reeded ormolu band and at each side are richly chased female figures in classic drape with flowers in their hair. All original gilt.
