An exceptional and richly carved 18th century Swedish Gustavian sofa bed, scraped back to its original paint with traces of original gilt over gesso. Beautifully decorated to all sides with beaded trim, fluted corners, flower decoration, round tapered & fluted feet, and flower decorated arched pediments. Recently re-upholstered in antique Belgian linen, or could be re-upholstered in a fabric of your choice.
