The Fleur - de - Lis (in French: "Lily flower), also spelled fleur - de - lys or flower - de - luce, is an stylised emblem much used in ornamentation, particularly in heraldy, long associated with the French crown and typically representing royalty or someone of great power or connections. This pin is in brushed gold plated with texture and has three round garnets at the centre. The back of the brooch has a standard clasp with a rollover safety mechanism. The brooch is marked on the back with the Sphinx oval logo from the 1950`s.New black leatherette with gold trim quality gift box included. This vintage pin is in very good condition with no damages. All the cabochons are present and are the original vintage to the piece. The gold plated surfaces are in good condition with minor patina & rubbing in line with age & wear.
