Key design features such as the swag & scroll form are kept simple for a Modern clean look. This design would suit a range of interiors such as Antique, Traditional, Hollywood Regency, Post Modern, or Contemporary. At the centre of each frame there is a brass cartouche body in satin brass surrounded by a beaded trim with a polished finish. At the top of the trim there is an elongated bow. The bottom is finished with a tassel detail. The contrast between the satin & polished brass finishes leads to different reflections. From this cartouche base spreads out 2 scrolling arms in polished brass. These rise slightly upwards in a candelabra like form. The bottom portion of each arm holds a lamp holder. Each has a brass candle cover with textured fluting. Following this textured pattern there is a bun shaped bobeche contrasted by 2 two break necks in polished brass. This is finished with a tassel finial. Contrasting textures between the vertical fluting against the polished brass creates different reflections. To fit the frame to the wall there is a metal plate on the back. This has 2 holes to screw to the wall. Each light is finished with a removable new clip-on black silk lampshade; finished with black fabric trim and metallic gold lining. Each wall light carries 2 standard small screw light bulbs (E14) up to 40 Watts. At present these lights are fitted & photographed with Candle Clear shaped light bulbs of 25 Watts. These are included in the price. All 4 sconces are in very good condition. The frames are quality cast and have a good weight. The brass is in excellent condition, with a light patina in line with age. The lampshades are new and also in excellent condition.
