A handsome Italian mid 19th century mahogany rectangular Neo-Classical st. center table. The table is raised by square tapered inlaid columns with double S scrolled supports the supports are joined by a stretcher. The columns have an elegant female faces above acanthus leaves and a basket of fruits above. The straight frieze above has an elaborate inlay of winged griffins amidst acanthus scrolls. The quarter veneered mahogany top has a central diamond shaped marquetry reserve of scrolled foliate.
